Operating cycle
- Three-phase power from the cable reel supplies the motor.
- The pump pressurises fluid drawn from the oil tank.
- Directional control valves manage the cylinder opening and closing movement.

- Clamshell: coal, grain, sand, gravel, cement, fertiliser and clinker
- Orange peel grab: metal scrap, pig iron, rock and industrial or municipal waste
Safety and durability
- Hydraulic locking valves help prevent the jaws from opening during a power failure.
