01

Operating principle

  • Pressurised, incompressible hydraulic oil applies force to the piston surface.
  • The piston rod transmits this force to the external load as linear movement.
  • A double-acting cylinder retracts when the flow direction is reversed.
02

Main components

  • High-pressure cylinder tube
  • Piston and piston rod
  • Seals and sealing elements
  • End caps and machine mounting components
03

Types

  • Single-acting: pressure in one direction, return by spring, gravity or external load
  • Double-acting: powered movement and force in both directions
  • Telescopic: long stroke relative to retracted length
04

Applications

  • Excavators, cranes, buckets and concrete pumps
  • Tractor and combine harvester hydraulics
  • Presses, sheet bending and production lines
  • Vehicle lifts, steering and marine rudder systems

Technical verification: Capacity, pressure, dimensions, material grades and applicable standards are verified for each application during the quotation stage.
